DoorDash - Food Delivery maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, starting at 260K and peaking at 352K by the year's end. Weekly active users fluctuated, with a high of 13.8M in early December before settling at 12.5M.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery experienced a similar trajectory in downloads, with a starting point of 162K and reaching 174K by Christmas week. The app's active users saw an initial increase to 10.7M in late October, followed by a dip to 9M in late November, and a slight recovery to 9.3M as the quarter closed.
The companion app for delivery drivers, DoorDash - Dasher, showed varying download numbers, beginning at 102K and ending the quarter with a modest increase to 103K. Active users saw a peak of 1.5M in mid-December, later decreasing to 1.38M.
For grocery deliveries, Instacart-Get Grocery Delivery had downloads ranging from 103K to 119K, with the active user base showing a more positive trend, climbing from 1.14M to 1.29M in early December and then dropping slightly to 1.17M by the quarter's end.
